Ann Curry

Ann Curry has worked as journalist for more than more than 45 years. Her focus is on natural disasters, as well as war zones. Curry was born in Japan, and educated by a Japanese mom. Her father was a U.S. Navy sailor. She met her mother while living with their father during Japan in the aftermath of World War II. She graduated in 1978 from the University of Oregon with a bachelor's degree in journalism. As a child she had the privilege of being exposed to various kinds of cultures.
